2013 Ford FOCUS
Hello' for today we will have update of new 2013 Ford focus is have any new technology in car assistance Included in 2013 ford fous.
Start
it up. The 2013 Focus revs to life when you push the optional start button. It
handles well when you combine the chassis and suspension, and a cornering
assist system that puts the torque where the traction is. We took some very
sweet performance technology and put it at your fingertips.
Fun to Drive.
The 2013 Focus offers crisp handling, thanks to a rear stabilizer bar
and our fully independent control blade rear suspension that stubbornly
resists body roll. The available
Titanium Handling Package is taut and confidence inspiring — it adds a
unique sport-tuned suspension with 18-inch wheels and low-profile
summer-only tires. You’ll look forward to a ride you’ll love every day.
Variable Cam Timing
Twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) adds an extra measure
of precision, contributing to fuel efficiency or power output, as
conditions demand. Controlled by the electronic control module, the
intake and exhaust camshafts can adjust independently; traditional iVCT
engines can adjust only the intake cam. Ti-VCT in the 2013 Focus
provides the advantage of precise, continuous adjustment of valve
overlap that window of time when both the engine intake and exhaust
valves are open at the same time.
Six-Speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission
Part of what makes Focus so satisfying to drive is its fully engaging available six-speed SelectShift
®
automatic transmission, which delivers seamless gear changes and
excellent responsiveness. And because it’s also designed to be flex fuel
capable you can have plenty of fun, without paying the price at the
pump. Select models also include SelectShift Automatic
® technology which allows you to change gears at the touch of a button.

Electric-Power-Assisted Steering
Electric power assist steering (EPAS) automatically adjusts to deliver
precise responses at high speed and optimal maneuverability at slower
speeds when needed. Its pulldrift compensation technology constantly
measures the driver’s steering input, adapts to changing road conditions
and helps compensate for slight directional shifts caused
by factors such as uneven road surfaces or steady crosswinds. What
you’ll notice are enhanced responsiveness and excellent control,
specifically tuned for each Focus model.
EPAS on Focus ST The variable ratio electric power-assisted steering
(EPAS) on Focus ST is enhanced with
a variable EPAS rack. This gives you more precise steering and means
more aggressive tuning of the torque steer compensation and allows you
to accelerate while still
maintaining grip on roads with uneven surfaces. The system detects the
torque steer that those conditions can create and counteracts the effect
to help you feel in complete control.
Designed inside
Torque Vectoring Control
Gforces in a corner transfer more traction to your outside tires than to
your inside ones. Our Torque Vectoring Control exploits that by
transferring torque to the wheels that have the most grip. It virtually
eliminates understeer, forcing the front end to hug the inside of each
curve.
FOCUS ST offers unique sport suspension enhancements you can feel at
every turn like understeer corning control that’s exclusive to ST. Not
to mention enhanced Torque Vectoring Control laying rails around every
corner.
AdvanceTrac® ESC with ABS
AdvanceTrac® electronic stability control (ESC) with
Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is standard on every Ford Focus. This
state-of-the-art system constantly monitors road conditions and the
driver’s responses, then adjusts engine power and applies ABS to help
keep all the wheels firmly planted. ESC brings an added measure of
handling confidence to the agility you’d expect in a Ford Focus.
Focus Electric Performance
The 2013 Focus Electric is the first 5-passenger vehicle from Ford to be
powered by an all-electric powertrain and achieve 110 MPGe city,* which
means you can go just about anywhere guilt-free.
Getting all of its power from an advanced state-of-the-art 23kWh,
high-voltage, lithium- ion battery system, the 2013 Focus Electric has
best-in-class horsepower.** It also features regenerative braking, which
allows it to capture over 90% of the energy normally lost as heat
during braking and recycles it to recharge the battery.

Focus has the technological mastery to keep you connected to the rest of the world. The big news is the availability of SYNC® with MyFord Touch®
technology. It’s done for the car what touch did for the phone. A
simple intuitive touch screen that lets you control your navigation,
phone and entertainment. Steering wheel-mounted controls with a display
in the cluster right in front of you let you control additional
functions without taking your hands off the wheel or turning your head.
Oh, but there’s more. So much more.
